This loss is going to be so overblown when none of us actually know what his contributions were. He was more local media savvy, but Carthon and Mayhew were poached first. I don't think this is that big of a deal 🤷♂️. https://t.co/u81FDiba7g

1. Before the 2021 draft it was reported that he was smitten with Trey Lance.
2. John lynch said after the 21 draft that he wanted Ambry Thomas.
Somehow he got credit for Kittle, Warner etc. along the way. https://t.co/wrMzaRV4fd
This Vish dude was cringe everytime I listened to him on Youtube.
As for the Trey Lance thing.
Shanahan is the boss of this franchise. Nobody including Jed could have forced him to draft a QB.
Adam Peters liked Trey Lance? So f**king what? What were the alternatives? Justin Field? Mac Jones? Zach Wilson?
Kyle said on the record he liked both Lance and Jones for the third pick. Does that make him a dumbass?
Besides the reason they gave those three first round picks was because Kyle wanted to trade up one month in advance and didn't want to wait the day of the draft.
Knowing Shanahan and his temper, if someone like Adam Peters would have gone Baalke on him, it would have been scorched earth in Santa Clara.
I think that Kyle is the only person that should not leave the building. He's that good. But Adam Peters being the first guy John Lynch signed and working a ton with the scouts on the latter rounds of the draft is someone that played an important role for the front office.
