same here, and that whole fan base. Haven't won a playoff game since 2005, held hostage by Dan Snyder. It's cool to see, and Peters is gonna be a star there.
Shoud've promoted Peters to GM and moved Lynch to VP of Ops

and how much did he like Lance in 2021 with us? That's the real question...

That being said, If Jayden progresses well next year the Commanders have around 100 Mil in cap space. They could really be an even bigger threat next year.
He doesn't even need to progress. If he plays like he did this year the Commanders will be legit title contenders every year with him on his rookie deal. I think all that will stop him are injuries because he has everything it takes to be an elite QB.

So you don't think having a year of footage for coaches to counter him now that he wouldn't need to progress.

Peters is no doubt a good GM, just look at how his free agent acquisitions have all contributed. We ended up with Campbell when we could have looked at Bobby Wagner. That said, it's awfully easy to look good when you draft a QB like Daniels.

Wagner went to WAS to play for his former DC Dan Quinn. at that time, the Niners had an agreement already worked out with Eddie Kendricks until he reneged and signed with DAL to play for his former coach. that's why the Niners ended up with Campbell.

Or just tanked in 2023 to get Jayden Daniels, used magic beans to have better health, and have some guys to make Brandon Aiyuk contract offers to couldn't refuse. Making a bargain with the Grim Reaper on behalf of Mooney Ward and Trent Williams too.

Probably true,
But why did we draft so poorly when Peters was here?

Yeah, I am having serious doubts about Peters' and Mayhew's performance when they were with us. The trouble with a team which keeps its mouth shut is that you don't know who to hold responsible.

LOL you took the words right out of my mouth. I like Peters and always thought well of him, but this move was exactly what you said.
I'm thought Kris Kocurek was the one pounding the table for Javon Kinlaw. Wasn't there a past report on this? Either way, I think Adams overpaid for him.

Maybe, we will see after this years draft and season results.
Peters out here taking all the niner scraps

Peters went to the NFCCG in his first year as a GM, and I know how much we like NFCCG appearances around here.

Why isn't that a good thing for Peters, but a great thing for Kyle/Lynch?
