We should make clear that game planning and in game decisions are not the same thing. Reid has the tendency to protect a lead by using short passes (part of his usual game) and running more. In the playoffs that very often backfires, as Shanahan learned in the SB last year. Your failure to acknowledge this really surprises me.

Again, this is categorically false. Reid has been known for abandoning the run game when in positions to protect leads. It has been one of the biggest criticisms of him as a coach.

And as far as the Titans game goes, if the other thread wasnt locked I could find the article that broke down the 2nd half playcalling, and how in no way shape or form was it conservative playcalling. But I am sure it will just be ignored again in favor of a narrative.
