Guy just got 70mil and your donating to his foundation. Eff that

you do realize the donated money goes to help kids...and not in smith's pocket?

Smith is a classy guy. I respect him. I hope his time in Washington is successful for him.

I don't think any big Alex critic wishes against that. for what it's worth.

I think the difference will become pretty evident once Cousins gets to experience luxuries like having a run game and a defense that isn't routinely bad.

Well you also think you know everything lol. I still like you though. And I guess we'll see... not sure how one can say with certainty that cousins is leaps and bounds better than smith right now. It's a close call. That's a logical statement

Smith's 2017 was better than any season by Cousins.
I think Alex will have hard time matching what Cousins produced. Cousins spreads the ball out. Wsh had 5 receivers/ backs over 500 yards. Leading receiver had less than 800. He put up for 4k yards throwing to Crowder as his main guy. Alex got big years out of Kelce/ Hill and that's it. Assuming Reed has another Reed year of being injury plagued he really doesn't have any playmakers. I think we're going to see 07-15 Alex and Wsh doesn't have the run or d to overcome that.

I'm guessing Wsh finishes last in the East and Alex gets beat up pretty bad.

Past 3 years comparing 15/16 game starting seasons

Cousins

2017: 16/16 - 64.3%, 540 pass attempts, 4,093yds, 7.6avg, 27 TD's, 13 INTs, 93.9 rating
2016: 16/16 - 67.0%, 606 pass attempts, 4,917yds, 8.1avg, 25 TD's, 12 INTs, 97.2 rating
2015: 16/16 - 69.8%, 543 pass attempts, 4,166yds, 7.7avg, 29 TD's, 11 INTs, 101.6 rating

Smith

2017: 15/15 - 67.5%, 505 pass attempts, 4,042yds, 8.0avg, 26 TD's, 5 INT's, 104.7 rating
2016: 15/15 - 67.1%, 489 pass attempts, 3,502yds, 7.2avg, 15 TD's, 8 INT's, 91.2 rating
2015: 16/16 - 65.3%, 470 pass attempts, 3,486yds, 7.4avg, 20 TD's, 7 INT's, 95.4 rating

Alex had the best season of his career and that was the only season that was better than any of Cousins' IMO. If Alex can ball like he did at the beginning of the season and make that MVP case for himself then the trade will be justified. Other than that, Cousins consistently puts up better averages, TD's, and yards. You're more likely to throw more picks with those numbers and attempts as well. Alex consistently has low INT's, but has shown to also have low TD's, yards, averages. But like I said, this was his best season where he maintained low INT's as well as threw high #'s.

Most of their comments/attitudes/obsession regarding Smith say otherwise

It would seem that you are not familiar with Mr. Wendler, Mr. 1der, Mr. rat, Mr. Starks and others.

nope, im just familiar with myself
DC's OL is much better than KC's. Will that matter?

I don't use PFF but would be interested in DC's line grades. They are a young group and seem to be top five, though the ratings I'm looking at are dated.

C Roullier 24
LG Kouandjio 25
RG Scherff 26
LT Williams 29
RT Moses 26

None are listed as free agents this year so they will have some continuity.

Nah, that is what the stats tell me, check for yourself.

Edit: I see you did. Which of Kirk's seasons were better than Smith's 2017?

I think they are both above average qbs.

Wouldn't that be "defender is a big Alex critic, but defender does not wish that against him" ?

Makes me wonder how much of the numbers for Cousins were in garbage times or rhythm pass playcalling to catch up in scoring. With KC, they don't usually abandon the run and play pass to catchup often. Having a running game takes away some of the attempts from any qb.

Not much difference in numbers between the 2 guys. The one that stands out is the INT category. Cousins double digits INT to get to those numbers, while Smith got his with only single digit INTs.

From what I've seen of Cousins, he not a quick decision maker. Very average athletic talent. If he can improve on his decision making quicker, he can be very good. Smith more mobile and quicker, more sound decision maker.
