Solid? OMG. Let's debate this. Guys, come on in, it's time

No one has ever debated Alex as a person. We are all in agreement.

A lot. Quite often. For years. Through several accounts.

Anyway, what a great and inspiring story regarding Smith. I still hope that he retires and that this thread is locked.
Alex smith will not win you a Super Bowl, but he will win you games. There it is.

He will also win your heart, but also win your scorn.

not anymore
Check the highlights for VD turning back the clock, hurdling a full-grown human, sticking the landing, & scoring the TD.

Is Alex better than Jimmy?

Can't believe the Skins had a healthy Adrian Peterson inactive, pretty dumb IMO.

Coaches reasoning was that they needed the special teams RB to cover Sproles on kick returns.
based off of yesterday's performance, I'd give the edge to a healthy Alex over Jimmy at the moment. Jimmy has shown elite flashes. especially during those 5 games he played with us in 2017. Right now, he just looked like a QB with not a whole lot of experience. and that's exactly the case. sorry I know this is about Alex Smith, someone just asked if Alex was better. long-term, I'd say JG once he gets way more experience under his belt. For right now, based off yesterday's rusty/shaky w/e you want to call it performance, Alex>
