ZOMG! ALICE SMIFF AND HIZ AGENT KEEP FOOLING ERRRONE!!! - Tony

You guy's act like teams don't make stupid decisions. Alex has benefited from a few now

No, I act like TS was so upset by news that Smith got traded that he had to make up some crud about the QB and then post an interview with the QB and his wife and make up more crud.

LUCKIEST QB EVAR AMIRITE?!?!?!

He is? I bet he's happy about the $$.

Money doesn't talk - it shouts!

Good for him and I'd love to see him burn the Giants every year.

Verb has been in an emotional state of denial for a long time regarding AS.

Hmm. This would seem to discredit a few theories on here - that Smith was not worth much and that he had no say in where he would go.

He definitely had teams trying to outbid each other.

I'm surprised that DC compensated both the Chiefs and Alex so highly in comparison to other trade offers
If Elway was offering a 2nd AND Talib, it wasn't for Smith to sit on the bench after one year. We also don't know what the four other teams were offering.

It probably surprises webzone fans the most because of the long-time back and forth here. As Chris Mortensen observed, Smith gets a lot more credit among football people around the league than he has gotten from a lot of fans. TBH, I was surprised at the contract and the compensation. I was expecting a 2nd and maybe a conditional 3/4 deal next year.

lol i love the top comments:

"This is so awkward lmfao"

"I feel bad. This was awkward and doesn't feel genuine at all. I hope Alex is happy."

"They look like they have no connection lol"

"Yeah of course you didnt..bimbo"

"Well at least she's really attractive..........don't go broke, Alex"

"Then she found out he was a QB in the NFL"

"Yoo I don't like her. Bad vibes"

I agree, that was definitely awkward.

Too bad we only had a diva receiva and a couple of guys fresh off the couch when it mattered.

Just needed to get into FG range one time. That defense was destined for SB, would've gone down in history.

He's also demoting himself from a Chief to just a Redskin

The Chiefs were 2-14 before he got there. Redkins are far better off now then KC 2012/2013. Of course coaching and other players matter but I think Alex can come in and at least make them competitive. Didn't Cousins have like... 20 turn overs last year? Smith had what? Negative 8? Smith had double the rushing yards I believe. I know some are caught up on his age but he doesn't look to be slowing down at all. 9 of Cousins 13 INTs last year came against Cowboys and Giants and Eagles (al division opponents). I just don't see Smith making those mistakes against division rivals. I could be totally wrong though. He seemed to do well against divisional opponents (8TD 1 INT).

Anyway...kudos on that phat ass contract.
