Where do most Smith fans stans on Donald vs Mahomes for MVP?

The fact there are people agreeing with you is boggling my mind. We will see when the votes come out. I would set the over under at amount of votes higher than 3rd place votes that Donald gets at o/u 0.5 total votes.

In a league driven by gambling/fantasy football, it would not surprise me that a QB gets the trophy. However, in each case, they are highly dependent on the weapons they have around them.

That is not the case with Donald. He is not only on an island, he is constantly being double-teamed. People talked about how Suh was going to make Donald even better but it didn't happen. Despite rarely being doubled, Suh had an off year. Donald, OTOH, had arguably the best season a DT has ever had. The Rams even tried to help him by adding Fowler to take the pressure off but it didn't matter. Donald still prevailed. Every OC they faced had nightmares trying to come up with a game plan to slow him down but they all failed. Four teams beat Mahomes and the Chiefs. Two teams beat Brees (he didn't play yesterday) and the Saints. Nobody beat Donald. THAT is the very definition of an MVP.

This is why the Rams have it all wrong. Donald should be playing RB/H-Back/TE on offense and only 3rd downs on defense.

It is interesting that Donald trains with the skill players to improve his quickness and agility. He doesn't train with DLs.

Yeah, I thought that too. Makes complete sense. Our d-line needs to get on that train.

"Steinberg, a longtime agent who in the 1990s represented a gaggle of star quarterbacks, believed fit mattered more than draft position. He sought for Mahomes an organization with an experienced and welcoming incumbent quarterback he could learn from; a coach who understood how to groom quarterbacks; a stable franchise; and a solid offensive line and quality skill players. In Alex Smith, Andy Reid and the Chiefs, Steinberg saw an ideal fit."

Certainly the pattern more teams should use. Too bad the 49ers did not follow it in 2006.

Chiefs have 3 playoff wins in last 60 years.

66% of them are from a 49ers QB on the downhill
14-0 at halftime. If this was Alex Smith, all the blame would still be on him lol. Mahomes, no blame. KC D still same old garbage lol.

Comparing a 1st year starter to seasoned vet. Yes people are more critical after the 46th time you came up short.

No better than Alex Smith so far, probably worse because Alex Smith actually helps the running game lol and choking in the AFC championship won't be good for next season.

So far he is better in only his first year. He's MVP. Threw 50 touchdowns. And made the AFC conference championship. Smith has never made it to a conference championship game in his career lol.

Mahomes seemed to make the run game better last week or did you miss that one?
