Goodwin isn't even close to Hill. Maybe since jimmy g is a stud and made a 2nd/3rd wr look like a wr1.

And Patrick M is very good but he probably has the best weapons on offense. He still misses some easy throws but he's young and will improve

At the start of the year before Mahomes broke out, Watkins was a low end WR2 hoping to recapture his former glory, and Conley was a mediocre WR3.

The fact they both did wiell is a credit to a Mahomes.

You guys remind me of people who discredit Joe or Steve because they had Jerry Rice. Great QBs make their weapons far greater, you don't discredit them by saying "well they had great weapons".

What great QB had a big game without a WR going off? It's a logical loop.

Edelman is a stud so I guess Brady is lucky he has great weapons too. Without Edelman's clutch plays Brady loses, and Brady missed easy throws. So let's start a Brady thread and declare Jimmy G is better because Brady wouldn't be in a SB with our team lol

I thought he played well. Problem is the patriots are ready to play the second the game begins. These other teams need a quarter or a half to wake up lol.

KC might have the best skilled positions in football.

But a lot of breaks have to go your way to make it thru the post season. The Saints were 1 lousy call from being in the SB, the Chiefs were 1 offsides. Just got to keep the ball rolling to next year.

I mean. Functionality wise, he is the same. He's designed to take the top of the defense with his 4.3 speed. Its just a matter of Jimmy G being accurate enough to hit him with his deep ball accuracy which is shaky at best.

Definitely feel like Tyreek would suck if he played here. Or hit his pregnant gf again because 49ers.

My assumption with Goodwin is that he plays 16 games next year with no issues (Optimistically)

To me, it just sounds like we are lining up all the excuses in the world if Jimmy doesn't perform next year. I'm sure many will say he is still struggling with the playbook or some crap.

Bottom line is as long as the KC HC is Andy Reid, KC will not win a SB because Andy doesn't give a crap about his D (Def wins championships.)

Same when Alex Smith was there, KC D couldn't hold a lead or stop the run, same now with Mahomes. Let's see if the D Coord Bob Sutton is fired now.

When Mahomes gets the bigger contract and Tyreek Hill leaves and the D keep sucking, KC will just be another GB when Rodgers was at his prime (that year GB won the SB with Rodgers, GB actually had a good Def and strong secondary).

Andy had several solid d's under Alex and it's always tough to keep talent up once a qb gets paid. They got a couple seasons before that happens so they got to strike now.

Mahomes was a coin flip away from a SB appearance

KC was supposed to have a good pass rush but NE offensive line did a great job protecting Brady. Their defense mad KC struggle for almost every yard in the first half and never really let the Chiefs get going until late in the game. Belichick is really a defensive genius. He has very little talent on that team and they still manage to win.
