Chiefs going down hill fast! Factor in that Mahomes had a fluke season and next season is looking like 8-8 at best

There is a checkered past, then there is choking out your gf that is 8 months pregnant. You draft someone that did that and you deserve what you get. I feel for the kid. Hopefully he is too young to remember this, and the lady bails out on this POS. And if this is true I agree with what some others have said. He should be gone for good.

How was it a fluke season? Agreed that next season isnt looking real bright for these guys but don't know how anyone can believe Mahomes season was a fluke.

Alex Smith left KC in a good place like he did in SF, it will be Andy Reid who will be KC's undoing same as Harb/CK undoing SF in the aftermath LOL.

Not a fluke by NFL defenses mostly catch up. I really doubt mahomes has anywhere near as good a season as he just had

Agreed, yes he's talented and has a huge arm, however beginner's luck, he sat on the bench, had Alex Smith as mentor, Andy Reid as HC and tons of weapons already plus added weapons in 2018... However football isn't a one player sport, it's a team game and every other team has 1 full season of game tape on him now and above ALL, Andy Reid don't give a crap about his D and D wins championships LOL!!!

It's a fair prediction honestly. More tape on the QB and will be hard pressed to repeat a historic season, lost both pass rushers and defensive leaders in Houston and Ford, possible Tyreek Hill drama, Kareem Hunt will not be there for those 11 games he was last year, they lost starting CB Steven Nelson in free agency.

I would take off the "at best" part but 8-8 is not far fetched IMO.

They might go 8-8 because of that defense but not because Mahomes had a fluke season. There is nothing Fluke about Mahomes he will be a star in this league for a decade,

KC's defense is going to be an even bigger liability this year.

Mahomes isn't a fluke but teams with KC on their schedule will be studying the crap out of his tape looking for any and all weaknesses and putting together a plan on how to exploit them. It happens to all QBs. Defenses adapt and then the QBs have to adjust that.


I think Mahomes still has a monster year but I expect there to be far fewer freebies than there were this season. If Hill gets suspended/cut, that will only exacerbate it.
