Underlined: The ONLY statistic that Hunt was worse in with Mahomes than he was with Alex is yards per carry.....and that difference was a miniscule 0.3 yards. Receiving touchdowns, Rushing touchdowns, and receiving yards were ALL better with Mahomes on a per game basis.

But you think the 0.3 yards per carry difference means he had a better season with Alex, when every other stat leans towards Mahomes.

There is no "same folks" turning this into an crap on Alex thread. We were discussing Mahomes until chillnin brought up Alex. You just have to go back a few pages to verify. This was 100% about Mahomes and the Chiefs moving forward until.....yeah.

If that is your point, fine. But you came in here saying "the same folks are turning this into a crap on Alex thread" and that isnt accurate. And since it was just me that was posting what I guess are deemed as "crap on Alex" posts (even though I was simply just listing defensive stats and Kareem Hunt stats), of course I am going to respond to this. You were essentially calling me out.

I know people like chilln aren't going to change their minds. But when said people make posts saying things like "the defense has been terrible every year for Andy Reid" I wanted to chime in to demonstrate how completely incorrect statements like that are.

Sorry, Wasn't trying to call you specifically out (although you were one of the posters I was referencing ), I saw you Sheen and some others and just would prefer this doesn't turn into that thread. Was hoping to see a discussion on how Mahomes will do this year without Hunt and now probably without Hill. Carry on

For crying out loud, people. This is the KC thread. We hashed all the Alex Smith stuff to death over the past 6 years. It is well established he had the best year of his life when he finally had a good supporting cast. It is also well established that last year with Mahomes was an even bigger year. So leave it there and move on.

It doesn't matter who "started" it. It takes two to tango.
