I simply stated Qb's in my mind that recently had flashes of real solid work and then some not so great work. Does that mean that's it? Of course not. Goff is super up and down, Tannehill is overrated, Bortles is backup quality. Jameis is looking average at best. Same could be argued for Alex Smith or Dalton. I could go on and on... My favorite QB in the NFL is Tyrod Taylor, loved him at VT. He's a bridge QB at best too.

He needs to relax with making ridiculous statements, when he is missing the context of the discussion.

Like I said, I am giving you the benefit of the doubt that this wasnt intentional. All I am saying is if you are trying to prove it is NOT a race driven opinion, your are probably better to list more than Cam, Kap, RG3, Dak, Mariota and Watson to try to prove that opinion.

Yeah well I agree, but that's what you get from me in the morning before my cold brew. Anyway, I think Mahomes will be fun to watch next year, especially with the losses they have on the team. Hope he can stay healthy. His no look passes are insane.

How many of those guys have come close to throwing 50 TDs or 5000 yards?

None of them have ever been remotely close to being in Mahomes league.

Calling what Mahomes did a Flash of Solid Work is ridiculous and so is comparing his success to the success of the QBs you mentioned.

He had a real historic year. Hope he continues it in year #2.

Exactly. Those QBs never did what Pat did, the closest would be Cam from those names xfactor mentioned, but hes a running QB.

There is no QB during the modern era that had a great season like this only to turn into a bust or an average qQB. The only way that happens to Pat if he suffers a bad injury. Maybe he will never get close to putting up numbers like this, but even if he averages 30 TDs a year for the rest of his career that would be really good.

And xfactor, i shouldnt have said it that way, your a good poster and dont fit in with that crowd. My b.

Thanks

It's funny there's only like 13-14 great franchise QB's anymore. So many don't stick long term. Will be fun to see Hyde on their offense too.

Culpepper would be a fair comparison though. Much like Pat there was talent galore, he's a pocket passer finished 4th in yards, 1st in td's his 1st year then was spotty afterwards. Injuries factored in but the league also better adjusted to him. If they have Hill KC just has too much talent for Mahomes to fail. That o made Alex into a 4k qb. Without him It's going to be a real test.

Good points! For instance Kap didn't put up huge numbers but defenses spent more time adjusting and taking away his running ability.

You know they sleeping together on the regular.
Who's on the Mahomes bandwagon in this thread says all even after all the offseason losses LOL.
Sorry to disappoint, like I said, he will slump this coming season and Reid will be the one who's on the chopping block next LOL!

Just going to sit back and laugh haha!

Anyone not on the bandwagon is an obvious hater. Dude had a historic season.
