No one is questioning his talent cause of smith. Again, not everyone is obsessed with that man. Some people thought mahomes got hyped too quickly, but after this year they won't have anything to say.

Ya ppl dont like hype. But hes legit. Baring an injury, he looks like hes gonna have a long and great nfl career.

Besides the Niners, my favorite team to watch because of mahomes. Dude bombs it downfield every other play, with a high rate of success. Crazy stuff

The best WR week 1 and 2 this season are both on KC .

And neither is named Hill.

2 games in a row where he throws 313 yards in 1st half

Unreal .

He's a baller for sure. But he's going to have to at least win one game against the Patriots before we can truly crown him.

Right now, he's projected to have great success in the league and maybe win a SB , but he's still shown he can be taken down by BB.

He can point to our free agent edge rusher as the reason he hasnt taken down BB.

However he does share the blame for a poor first half.

It has been the perfect marriage:
- Outstanding arm talent
- HC with well-established offensive scheme
- tons of weapons
- full year to learn the system before having to play.

It will be fun to see what the AFCCG looks like with NE having collected all the talent they now have.

Would a loss send Brady and BB into retirement?

He still f**king crushing it !!!!

Ya. Maybe he wont throw for 40 50 tds, but he still be great. Im not sure how people are still questioning him. Do they not see the talent?

This

If anyone mentions him being a better choice than Solomon Thomas, people go bananas and say s**t like he would suck and be benched if he were a 49er.

Dude is elite. That is a label that also gets scoffed at here.

Really? That's just a silly position to take and one that I haven't seen. Then again, I don't frequent the Thomas thread.
I feel like this guy is gonna be stuck in a Steve Young "Cowboys" situation with the Pats. Mahomes will like rip every hole through the record books, but only walk away with one ring by the time his payday arrives, or missed opportunities and injury years catch up.

Mahomes is better but our qb is 11-2, and 8-2 here. I think it's more people aren't going to cry about what Shanny did at qb because he still brought in a great qb.

Solly on the other hand.

I am satisfied with Jimmy and think he is a fine QB.

But just thinking what Mahomes could do with the speed we have. Deebo. Goodwin. Hurd. Pettis. Kittle. And then with the pass catching abilities of Breida and Coleman. Maaaaaaaan.

Pretty much. I'd take Mahomes over Jimmy and Mahomes over Jimmy + Solly too. It's just not something to get upset about.
I keep thinking Mahomes is going to come back down to Earth but when I watch him play, it looks as if the game is too easy for him. Even when he is pressured, he avoids it and stays so calm along with making the throw under duress look so easy.

The game just looks too easy for him...Montana style.

Ya can't get mad about it. Nobody saw this coming. Plus, everybody knew we werent drafting a qb, since we were supposed to sign Cousins. This wouldve only hurt a lot if we drafted another QB in the first instead of Mahomes.

Yeah its hard to get mad at it, and people shouldnt get mad at it. If we drafted Trubisky instead of Mahomes, Id have no issue with people being mad.

But drafting a defensive lineman while a generational talent at QB went after? Hard to be upset at that regardless of how useless Thomas is.

The team shouldn't have been targeting Cousins and didn't need an interior DL.

I was all for Mahomes or Watson and totally opposed to drafting yet another defensive tackle.

It was a massive miss on a huge need.

Mahomes is like what, 25? Brady is 42...hes almost done, no worries about Pat not being able to win bc of the Pats.
