I saw that. The outrage is lacking, IMO, because Kelce came back and hugged EB.

It will be interesting to see how KC comes against the Texans next week. Mahomes and the Chiefs have been getting TONS of love from everyone while they were flying high. It is easy to be all lovey with all that. Everyone talks about the measure of a team is how it deals with adversity. This will be the first time this team has dealt with adversity in the Mahomes/Reid era.

The hug shouldnt excuse the action, IMO. Kelce should be suspended for at least a game by the Chiefs. Bet it doesnt happen, but it absolutely should.

He messed up his ankle as well early on, i wonder how bad it will be going forward, no doubt that was a big issue last night.

In his post-game presser he said he expected it to be pretty sore today.

He also let something slip; he said what Indy did defensively last night and what Detroit did last week, and what NE did in the playoffs was the same thing - man coverage and rushing four.

They couldn't block the four nor could they beat man in the secondary. It all came down to pressure.

Alex Smith would have won that game last night.

uh, no, he wouldn't. When a QB has two key OL out, top two receivers out, and no running game, they lose. However, I do understand your desire to stir the pot.

Crazy when you think about it, many of the franchise QB's (Brees 40, Rogers 35, Manning 38, Brady 42, Big Ben 37, Rivers 37) are on their way out.

This leaves: Murray 22, Mahomes 24, Watson 24, Mayfield 24, Wentz 26, Jimmy G 27, Carr 28, Newton 30, Wilson 30, Foles 30, Cousins 31.

Mahomes is or will be the Michael Jordan of the NFL, unless he forgets how to play football!

I would say Cam Newton is closer to being on his way out tbh. I can see him leaving early like how luck did. Cousins is also in some trouble.

Really I'm just mad that you let the inmates run the asylum in the AS thread and then locked it before my "ban" had even expired.

You and I have spent enough time in Smith threads for you to know I was an ardent supporter for the real Alex Smith, not the one imagined by both extremes of the debate. Hence, closing that thread was not something I did lightly. The truth is, there is nothing new to discuss. It simply continued to be a trouble spot with no end in sight.

There may be a time when it is re-opened but for now...

I think updates on his rehab and the state of the Redskins without him (1-11 since he was injured by the way) is more than enough reason to keep the thread open. Just needed to ban 3-4 of the same toxic people who couldn't let go of their hate. Is what it is for now. If/when he makes a comeback (I doubt it) it'll be an open thread once again.

Mahomes is the best QB in league by the way, and it's not even close. The number and types of throws he makes from different spots on the field and from the variety of arm angles is like nothing I've ever seen.

For now, the Coaching Carousel thread is a good place to discuss what is going on with the Redskins - it is a mess.

Well you said it after 3-4 games lol. He's had a full season and now full off-season for opposing coordinators to game plan for him. It's not working.

Are you also advocating to ban the "toxic" people in the Kap thread? Seahawks thread? Jim Harbaugh thread?...never seen you say that about the people in those threads. I was just in the JH thread yesterday and was talking s**t about him and tjd was there defending him, but not once did he cry toxic behavior or ask for people to be banned bc they have a different opinion.

Cant have it both ways. Its a football forum and people will have different opinions than you.

I don't go in those threads much. But if the same thing exists there, then yes.

Plus I don't care about the toxic posters, my problem is with the thread getting locked. I'm sure if one of those threads you mentioned was locked because of certain posters, you wouldn't be too happy about it (assuming you like posting there).

Well that's just ridiculous then. If the internet and other people's opinions get you that shook, than you should probably log off...unless its obvious trolling, i dont understand whats wrong with it. Freedom of speech is great, dont hate on it.

And the mods were right to lock that thread, its a rehash of the same thing. Nothing new is happening with Alex
