The Chiefs paid more to acquire a slight upgrade in Frank Clark than it would've cost to keep Dee Ford and they still can't stop the run and their defense is still terrible, wow.

it's not that bad.They got a pick in the end zone. Made Carlos Hyde fumble. Had another pick as well.
Merhomes just gets shook when they are behind and on 3rd and long.Screen plays can only get you so far. Just like Reid in the playoffs.

He may not do well playing from behind, but we haven't seen that until recently, and it's still too early to say that for sure. They're 4-2 and still the most dangerous offense in the regular season. Their defense will hold them back come playoff time. Clark hasn't been a good addition, and their cornerbacks are terrible. Jones and Mathieu are the only solid pieces

I'm with you Gore49er ... they can't stop anything when it really matters. They'll make the playoffs, but will be out sooner rather than later. They OVERREACTED last year after the AFCCG. Should have drafted D instead of cleaning house.

They can win with a great offense, but that OL is bad too. Idc how good your QB is, bad OL, below average defense, nobody is winning a super bowl that way.

Especially against New England. Belichick will beat up Mahomes on defense and then cram the ball down their throats on offense. They are wasting their rookie contract years with Mahomes because their current GM sucks.

Is it Veach by himself, or does Reid have a say in what he does?
No doubt the move to replace Ford with Clark has been a failure so far, but that was a calculated risk based on Ford's injury history. At the time, it was a case of selling at the peak of the market with Ford.
I think Reid has a strong hand in personnel decisions. He loves his offense but he has on his second DC and that is failing. He must shoulder a good part of the blame.
