LOL! True. Hill has quickly become one of my favorite players. He has every quality of a great receiver/runner except another couple of inches in height. Love watching him track down deep balls and angle the db away from the ball. Not sure if he had great coaching or is this all natural?

He's not a great route runner yet but his speed and aggressive ability to go up for the ball makes up for a lot.

He's not a great route runner yet but his speed and aggressive ability to go up for the ball makes up for a lot.

His adjustment to the ball is what I believe separates him from many receivers. The niners went through dozens of guys over the years and never had anyone close to Hill in adjusting, keeping the db away from the ball and taking it in stride. Just special.

Edit: as a young player I was a TE...had to turn and stop in order to catch the ball...so I love seeing guys who can catch on the fly and make it look effortless. I had good hands but no one was worried about my speed.
