KC has at minimum 4 more SB appearances in the next 7-8 years. Mahomes obviously, best DC in the league, arguably the best HC in the league and a stud D that is young.

13 quarters of Super Bowl football. ZERO holding calls. I just read that. Not sure if it's true. But it sure wouldn't surprise me at all.

Is it really true in 13 quarters? That's unbelivable.

I remember at least 1 holding call. But that's still too few.
I used to be a big proponent of the philosophy that having a strong D-line more than makes up for a mediocre secondary. But I'm starting to change my mind because of all the holding allowed by O-lines.

If you can hold it negates it. KC has a fabulous secondary.

You just aren't going to get thar 2007 Giants D line performance. You will need a good one, but the back 7 are just as important. I'd also say that aggressive pass rush works better with big leads. We need an offense that can continue to score TDs.

They picked up Trent McDuffie with that Tyreek Hill trade. In addition to some other players that help them on that roster. But they really got a lot of picks out of that. They Chiefs even know how to deal a player away and add more great pieces. It's just sick.

The Chiefs received:
The Chiefs maneuvered around the NFL Draft using the draft capital they received in the Hill trade. Following subsequent trades involving those picks, the Chiefs ultimately selected Washington CB Trent McDuffie, Western Michigan WR Skyy Moore, Kentucky IOL Darian Kinnard, SMU WR Rashee Rice, and Texas DT Keondre Coburn and still have a remaining 2024 fifth-rounder they acquired.

You gotta tip your cap to their GM, Brett Veach. He did a hell of job with those draft picks. They got contributions from most of those guys from the trade, but the McDuffie pick alone is worth the Tyreek Hill trade, IMO. A true sticky press-man corner is rare nowadays.

Yeah in a way they almost kind of get better. Rashee Rice is also good at times. McDuffie is an absolute stud. Makes it so hard to pass against them. Who knew they could trade away Tyreek Hill and get better? Unbelievable. They are playing chess and the rest of the league is playing checkers.
