The Chiefs owner/Andy Reid have never given a s**t about high character players.
They have drafted/signed so many criminals and guys with character concerns.
These guys even gave Damon Arnette a chance after the Raiders dumped him.

The Chiefs are no different than most other teams. If a guy can play they're willing to overlook a lot of character flaws. The Niners have had their share of bad actors in the past. Walsh had Hollywood Henderson, Lawrence Phillips , Jeff Bregal and a couple others that had major issues. Aldon Smith certainly had issues as did Dana Stubblefield. Fortunately the Niners dumped these guys when the bad stuff started making the news. I imagine they knew about some of the bad stuff prior to it making news.

I don't disagree with their approach. Just pointing out they could not give 2 f**ks about a guys history as long as he's able to run 4.4 or less and dominate a cone drill.
