Here is the full text of his speech. He stands up for traditional family values. That is all.

Traditional...give me a break, want to hear about some other "traditions" that women had to put up for many generations?

"I think it is you, the women, who have had the most diabolic lies told to you."

That's a hell of a thing to say at a graduation. Did you even listen to it? If u agree with his whole stance, you need evolve past your 1800s mentality. Especially taking at shot at gays. He should save his BS for church or MAGA rally

He was "preaching to the choir." It was at a private Catholic college that subscribes to what he was saying. We may not like some of what he said but he has a right to say it. His religious belief, as stated in Ephesians 5:21-33, is that men and women, husbands and wives, should treat each other with equal respect. That passage ends with "let each one of you love his wife as himself,"

One particular thing he said that I agree with is that women who choose to be a "stay-at-home mom", homemaker, should not feel embarrassed to state that publicly. That decision should be honored and highly respected, not ridiculed as is so often the case. I see too many kids being raised by babysitters and other surrogates while lacking the very personal, critical nurturing that comes from a dedicated mother.

Tell me what world is ridiculing stay at home moms (not looney far left blue haired feminists ) ?

if anything , having a stay at home wife is a flex , especially in a financial way .
That is where it started, and they still seem to have the loudest voice. We live in a relatively conservative area and we still hear it from time to time. The fact that Butker felt the need to express encouragement to young women in a conservative college is an indication it is a factor.

It's not a factor . The conservative news (Fox News / social media influencers ) prop them up by blasting them to the general public any chance
they get.
Why bother... The guy thinks that telling women that most will fail and should stay in the kitchen is appropriate.

I went to a private Catholic College too. I wouldn't have wanted to hear that crap on graduation day and I doubt that the majority of the women graduating would've either. Wasn't like you had to be Catholic to go there or even believe.

Nothing diabolical about giving women the choice to do with their lives what they see fit. No matter what that choice is.

Any feminist/lefty insulting the choice to be a stay at home mom is as ignorant as Butker.

He didn't say that at all. He said a women's life can ONLY be truly fulfilled if she is married & a stay-at-home mom. May be true for some women - some may find fulfillment in both or some may never want children. None of it should be looked down upon. I personally think most men who prefer women to stay home - do so bc they don't want women to gain financial independence. It's how men have traditionally controlled their wife and daughters for centuries all over the World.

And, ironically - those are exactly the ppl who don't respect home-makers - because during divorce when court hands the stay-at-home mom 50% of the assets and possession of the kids - - they're the ones who b***h and moan about what did she do to deserve that?

Of course, he is entitled to his opinion - just as the ppl who are critical of his opinion. Just saying - he's a fukin' kicker lol - talking about masculinity and women's role in society is hilarious and condescending.

Why is Mahomes courtside at Maverick games like he's their biggest fan. I don't understand how he has so many commercials and endorsements, his voice sounds stupid and his personality sucks. It's not even that good for TV.

His voice was even worse in person for some reason. I was like, his voice was always bad..but not this bad? Really sounds like Kermit..but like worse. Like a drunk Kermit with a bad cold that is also snorkeling.
i put a curse on these fools (using same hatred voodoo I used on dallas in 1996)...
parade shooting and now this butker hoopla. it's working...

This, 100%. Their time is coming, they're going to get theirs.

Looking forward to the Niners again taking them on - want to see the Niners take it to them in Week 7 and if they meet again in the SB. Let them off the hook in two previous SBs...need to finish the job if they meet again in the big game.

have to think about who is who
