The fact that Butker felt the need to express encouragement to young women in a conservative college is an indication it is a factor.

He was "preaching to the choir." It was at a private Catholic college that subscribes to what he was saying. We may not like some of what he said but he has a right to say it. His religious belief, as stated in Ephesians 5:21-33, is that men and women, husbands and wives, should treat each other with equal respect. That passage ends with "let each one of you love his wife as himself,"
One particular thing he said that I agree with is that women who choose to be a "stay-at-home mom", homemaker, should not feel embarrassed to state that publicly. That decision should be honored and highly respected, not ridiculed as is so often the case. I see too many kids being raised by babysitters and other surrogates while lacking the very personal, critical nurturing that comes from a dedicated mother.
Tell me what world is ridiculing stay at home moms (not looney far left blue haired feminists ) ?
if anything , having a stay at home wife is a flex , especially in a financial way .
It's not a factor . The conservative news (Fox News / social media influencers ) prop them up by blasting them to the general public any chance
they get.
