Just wild.
f**k these refs. So sick of this s**t.
Absolutely should have been PI this week, just like last.
There HAS to be an investigation.

Why? NFL can do this and it is legal.
Remember, NFL Football is not a sport. It is entertainment. I always remind myself of this when I watch 49ers games.

I do wonder how and why people bet on football games... how can betting on an entertainment event be a thing?

It's actually a very relevant question.

I was once a big pro wrestling fan. I still watch highlights sometimes on YouTube and so forth. I just don't have the time or interest to typically sit and watch it anymore like when I was younger.

But I recall Kevin Nash, who I always liked, saying something about Ric Flair was a great performer but never won anything because it's "fake". Another former wrestler got mad at him using the "f" word and he responded, "Can you go to Vegas and bet on Wrestlemania?" and the guy he was talking to said, "No, the outcome is predetermined."

If the NFL is indeed classified as entertainment, and it is, then indeed how can it be betted on?

I think the only way they get away with it is they present it as football, the same game these guys were playing in high school and maybe even before. And essentially it is. When kids wrestled in high school or college, that's entirely different from like the WWE. Sure, some of it is the same. But in amateur wrestling there's no ropes, turnbuckles, dropkicks, piledrivers, ddt's, etc. Definitely no steel chairs or kendo sticks. So it is entertainment. These guys are doing the exact same stuff that they did before entering the NFL.

I also don't think every single game every single week is rigged or predetermined. I mean, it's possible. But I don't think they care enough to go through all that trouble. Certain games and the Super Bowl, that's different.

Also don't know how much the players themselves actually know or are involved. I see the stuff about the exact score being set and it being choregraphed throughout the game and it's like no way. Wrestlers mess up in the ring and that's one on one. No way do 11 guys on both sides of the ball work in perfect sync for 60 minutes.

But it would be nice if we could believe everything was totally legitimate or if it was rather than the NFL picking their winners and losers.

It's just WWE at this point. Every single call at the most key moments goes in the Chiefs favor. Offense, defense and special teams. The exact same call can happen next week with the opposite team having it happen to them. The Chiefs won't be called. We have seen this time and time again. It's not the call or being consistent. The only consistent factor is it always favors the Chiefs. Even more so if it's a key moment or big game or deciding the outcome.

Right, for the whole thing to be rigged, the players would have to be on board, and that is just too big a mess to manage. I don't think it is rigged outright, but it seems obvious to me it is manipulated, either to favor a team or to try to keep a game competitive/interesting.

Still, betting on something that isn't on the level is strange to me.

It's not rigged in the sense that they meet weekly in a dark, smoky filled, underground bunker and discuss strategies on how to cheat.

The refs are just hugely in awe of Mahomes and the Chiefs. If there is a close call it goes that way like 95% of the time. It's just subconscious really. In the back of their mind. Not even intentional. But it's still happening and it's very unfair. Makes it almost impossible to beat them. They don't need any help and they are getting plenty of it.

Its pretty clear the refs favor the swifties. Pretty much every Swiftie win has a favorable call in a big moment to help them.

Yep and they certainly aren't deciding to do so on their own.
Friendly fire. The refs should have thrown a penalty against the Chargers because Mahomes missed his block and injured his own guy by accident.

I hope a team doesn't bail the Chiefs out and hand them a WR. Everyone around the league should have the same attitude and that is f**k the Chiefs. Despite them being 4-0 they are very vulnerable right now. Their only half decent WR is a rookie, Kelce is on the decline, They had to bring back washed up Hunt because they have no RB, And they have no good tackles. They will still be tough to beat because they have Reid, Mahomes and an elite defense and the refs. But don't go out and help them unless they want to massively overpay.
