Imo the SB proves the bias that exists in officiating. There were a few OBVIOUS calls, including at least 1 roughing the passer, that went uncalled against the Chiefs after the week of brutal national criticism of the refs and their biases calling games. They swung it the other way to prove they aren't, which proved they do.

I guess it never ends. For some fans it always comes down to the officiating. Now some peole are saying the Chiefs lost because thew refs didn't give them all the calls. So if they win it's because they get the calls and if they lose it's because they don't get the calls.

What a load of BS. They win because they know how to win the close games. They know how to take advantage of a turnover or penalty that goes their way. Look at how they used that muffed punt in last year's SB to springbord their comebck against the Niners.The Eagles defense was so dominant that the Chiefs never had a chance to come from behind. The Chiefs are still a very good team and it won't surprise me if they return to the SB again next year.

Holding calls on the Chiefs Oline for the first time in a recent SB for them. They were asked to play a straight up game, and they were destroyed. They didn't belong.

All season, the favoritism was blatantly obvious. The whole country got louder and louder with their displeasure. Peaked with the screw job of the Bills in the AFCCG.

Hopefully next year will be a "down year" for KC. 7 deep playoff runs in a row has to take a toll on a team eventually, right?

They lost because of that oline getting wrecked and the Eagles defense making some pretty difficult catches for INTS. IDK why Jalen got the MVP but whatever. Those were padded stats due to defense doing it's thing.
Mahomes is still elite. that 40 yard double coverage beam to Worthy (A ROOKIE RB) in garbage time was pretty crazy. And I can't stand Mahomes, but accurate throws like that are what helps puts the chiefs in contention every year.

When the Chiefs lose the SB, but then realize they'll be back in the SB again next year.

They were obvious holding calls because the Eagles D line was overwhelming them. Everyone knws that every O line holds a lot. The Chiefs get awaywith some because they know how to hide it from the officials view. Remember they don't have that overhead look that we see. The can't look at replays and go back and make the calls. When you're in the middle of all that action surrounded by reallybig guys you're bound to miss some calls.

I remember in the 49ers great years they were always getting accused of illegal blocking. The fact was they were but they were taught how to do it without getting called for it.
