Good point! Forgot about that aspect of Mostert. In my mind, he's #2 behind Breida, and forgot about Coleman. Also I am hoping ShanaLYnch can trade BeatHard so we can free up that 3rd QB spot for a talented offensive or defensive player.

Interesting to note that Mostert had pretty much the same amount of yards but on half the carries.

Once the o line started opening up gaping holes , Wilson was finding the holes and getting his yards. Mostert was exploding through those like a cannon ball.

Thank God we got him back.

Just you watch, we will end up needing 4 RBs. For one, Breida is too small and soft, he can't take the hits, he will be injured for a few games. Coleman should be fine. Mostert has special teams duties too, so we will need Wilson to complete the rotation. He did well last season, I would expect to see him continue on his trajectory.

Yeah, Breida will get injured and we'll need Wilson. He just has to quit fumbling the ball.

If Mostert can develop his already good pass catching hands, and if the 49ers give him the opportunity to do more RB stuff, I think he has the talent to be another McKinnon and be a featured back.

I think his only weakness is also holding onto the ball. But he has outstanding speed that McKinnon has and if McKinnon can't come back, ShanaLynch should draft a special teams player in the 7th round next year to take Mosterts special teams role and move Mostert to #2 arby.

Yup dude can't hold onto the ball...like his vision and balance, but that s**t doesn't matter if you put it on the ground.

I tried telling everyone he wasn't gonna make it on anyone's active roster. People don't pay attention to other teams and realize they all have those "wilson Jr" type players.

Tevin Coleman sustained a high ankle sprain. They will not have to place him on IR. The team will most likely have to add a running back.

Agree. He's a good change up from Breida and Mostert - who are speed guys. I'd love for Jeff Wilson to develop into Roger Craig 2.0.

I'm telling you all.. since Coleman is expected to return, we should package Breida on a trade... start Mostert and have Wilson back him up... we can even bring back Walter for "that'" 3rd string RB until Coleman comes back..

Being down a running back now tells me we are in no spot to make a trade.. if that happens at all... when coleman comes back.
