Have a feeling Wilson might be plucked away if the Niners try to move him back down to the PS once Coleman returns.

Dude has a perfect role. In fact, with his running style, kind of like Deebo, I epf have preferred to feature those two more knowing it was going to be a dog fight. And ironically, he was the only Arby who didn't fumble.

I know everybody thinks those fumbles were the 49er players fault, but I side the other way. I think the Steeler defense forced those fumbles. They had good pressure on Jimmy in those interceptions, and also on those fumbles, that steeler D Line wasn't giving a lot of ground, and the arby's were trying to steal a look ahead because they knew that the Steeler D LIne and front 7 aren't going to let them cross the LOS without getting a good hit on them. The Steeler D was giving the ARby's pretty good hits when they got tackled, so I don't blame them a bit for being distracted and trying to press for every advantage they could get against a strong defense like that. Having said that, I still don't condone those turnovers. They have to clean that up proto.
I really hope we don't let this guy go when Coleman returns! I know Coleman is valuable, but one could say Wilson might be even more valuable, since we have Breida and Mostert, and Wilson is by far our best red zone back.

you said nothing wrong. i hope the team will find a way to keep and use all of them. wilson is just money at the goal line
Hope they keep him on the roster but if they really need the spot. Maybe they can pull a patriots type deal where they move him to the practice squad but pay him exactly what he'd make on the roster.

Patriots are doing it with a 2017 second round db the raiders picked.
I say we keep him on the roster.

We seem to always hit a injury bug at RB.

all it takes is one of them to get hurt to get Wilson back on this roster.

But if he gets sent back to PS, he will be swooped. probably by Seattle.

If you are on the PS squad, anyone can sign you away. He isn't going back to the PS.

What I like is that with our players, we can have some diverse game planning. We could grind it out running the ball and use the short passing game to backs, TEs, and guys like Samuel to slow down pass rush, control clock, etc and eventually hit a guy like Goodwin deep if defenders get too close to the LOS, or we can play a pretty wide open game, or a healthy balance of running and passing. All of this would be dictated by the calibur of defense we are facing. I love the versatility of this offense.
With Coleman returning, the RBs will be Breida, Mostert, Coleman -- with Wilson inactive for most games absent an injury to one of the other three.

Yes, but the player has to agree to it. That is where paying them more money comes in.

The player has no say on being claimed ofv waivers though.

there is just no way we can lose this guy. i like him better than korey sheets
He has helped the red zone offense a lot. He could have 15-20 TDs this year with this team.
