Was a big fan of this particular UDFA pickup. Hard runner with fantastic vision, moves, power, and that fall-forward for extra yards ability. Plays faster in pads than shorts.
Incredibly productive in college. Really inexplicable he wasn't drafted. His fumbling issue was an easily correctable flaw and it wasn't like he was Division II or something. Conference USA isn't the sec but it's still D1. Really pleased he finally got a shot. Look forward to seeing him even more as we go. While not a burner he's faster than Morris and has much better lateral movement ability.

Yeah, I like him better than Morris. He really fights for the extra yards.

Shanny would be a complete GREAT play caller if he can learn how to use the run when it's needed most.. There are times he calls some passing plays for just the heck of it... Games where it's obvious that we can run the ball, he would throw in a pass here and there that get us into trouble downs.. I've yet to see him call a "great" drive because he seems to get bored of just "dull" running game..
By the way, this kid can be our POUNDER..

Played pretty good yesterday overcoming a very questionable fumble call and foot injury. 61 yds. rushing 73 receiving on 8 catches. He runs hard and decisive.

Runs hard and likes to fumble. I could see Kyle giving him a big contract extension, a perfect back for his system.

He reminds me of Ricky Watters - same body type and running style.

Next year him and Mostert will be competing for 3rd RB spot on the roster, Mostert has lots of value on STs tho..

That wasn't a fumble. Even Kyle agreed that was a bad call. His backside was down way before Wagner took the ball.
He's a natural as a pass catcher out of the backfield. I'm looking forward to seeing more of it. Breida is out this week as well so the touches will be there.
