Just a great running performance from him today. Guy is a TD-scoring machine! Really hoping his ankle is a short-term injury.

No bone break for Wilson. Only the high ankle.
X-rays came back negative, I'm told, so no significant damage for San Fran's leading rusher vs Patriots RT @AdamSchefter: 49ers think RB Jeff Wilson suffered a high ankle sprain.

Tough, hopefully we can stay even record-wise cause it seems like half our team is going to be coming back in the next 4 weeks.

Kid did well but he's probably done starting for the season unless mostert is hurt worse than they are reporting. Feel bad for him.

Looked like a really bad high ankle. Expecting more like 6+ weeks, sadly

The negative is the injury right when he was the hot hand among the RBs. Positive is he looked really really good starting

Yeah I really feel bad for him. This was his best opportunity for more carries going forward and just like that it's gone.

Every week we have 2 more starters going down with injuries. Do we have enough healthy bodies?

Gillette Stadium featured a natural grass surface when it opened in 2002 but has used FieldTurf since 2006. The latest version of the surface "plays soft, feels real, looks great, and hangs tough" according to the company.
The NFLPA cant win this "dispute" over these fields given the technology we have today soon enough.

Dang, what a game by Wilson. So impressive. He's legit. Happy healing to him!
