UDFA flipped him for a 5th, not bad

We better have backs ready to spell Jeff

Mitchell coming back, TDP and Mason that's plenty enough. Getting 5th for Wilson who was a UDFA is a good deal

I don't really care about where someone is drafted, more so how good/important they are when they are traded.

I hope Mitchell stays healthy, and the youngsters come through when needed.

Thanks Jeff! Good luck in Miami, with all your old friends.

Dumb move , he a good physical back, for a 5th?? Why???

Lol..

1. He was an undrafted FA. Developing and flipping for an actual pick is a win.
2. He shot us in the foot with a bazooka in two games this season with critical fumbles lost, one of which was housed
3. We added CMC
4. We are getting a round 5 pick
5. He gets to play in MIA perhaps.. would he get past CMC and Mitchell once he's back
6. It gives TDP and/or Mason a clearer path to carries
7. We need draft capital after TL and CMC acquisitions

not really liking the idea of moving him with the uncertainty of Mitchell, and the high usage were gonna put CMC through. i thought we could of used Wilson to help spell them

They drafted TDP and looks like they like him enough to make the move

I think they believe TDP and Mason are ready for more work. And Mitchell coming back. I like the move tbh.

Agreed.

I'm not sure Kyle trusts them as much as he trusts Wilson particularly with blocking. Mitchell staying healthy would obviously help. If not this is a risk.
We now have 3 5th round picks!!!! That's like 3 all pros on 5th round contracts for 4 years!

Thanks for everything, Jeff. You're going to ball in Miami.

this FO converts UDFA RBs into 5th round picks.

Matt Brieda
Jeff Wilson

Absolutely correct! Too bad we turn 1st and 3rd round picks into busts and wastes. :(

All of this… and I really liked Jeff Wilson. Good trade.
Can't keep 6 RB's on the 53 man roster. And none of them were going to make the PQ. So someone had to go.

5th rounders are starters on this team.

I guess having depth at RB is not important

Depth yes but Kyle's system has to have a Mitchell plus running back to work.

Yea and Elijah Mitchell stays healthy never, we gonna run cmc into the ground
We draft better in the late rounds anyways

This guy will be missed, always did a good job stepping in.
I can see both sides of the argument.

But getting a 5th for a player that's gonna be a FA at the end of the season is a good move. Plus we have Mitchell back.

I think he'll do well in Miami.

A win for all concerned.
