Why would you expect evidence that rookies are ready to help more? They are rookies. It's all potential. That kind of thinking would have one leaning on Earl Mitchell over DJ Jones in 2017 because of lack of evidence. The talent is there and its 3rd and 4th running back positions. I think we will be okay:).

I'm not talking about the distant future. i'm talking about the next eight games and playoffs. If we don't make it, bosa no stay.

if bosa no stay, kyle and lynch no stay

ridiculous. the Niners control Bosa thru 2025.

What exactly does Miami need revenge on us for?

It's actually the "Thank You Kyle" game because without Kyle most of these UDFA and castoffs like McDaniel, Sherfield, Mostert, Jeff Wilson would've been cut and out of the league.

Just heard on KNBR that the current Mia team was made by possible by Trey Lance and the 3 number 1s we sent them. They should be thanking us !

1st Rd picks from the Niners:
2021 - Jaylen Waddle
2022- Traded for Tyreek Hill
2023- Traded for Bradley Chubb

Mia turned those picks into sure fire pro bowlers. Now they get a reliable back in Wilson that understands the system and can cover a fragile Mostert.

This keeps getting floated around today and is extremely misleading. It took much more then just those picks to acquire those players.

Maybe it's over simplified and happened over many months, but without the Trey Lance trade they wouldn't have these specific 3 players.

it stupid because it doesnt mention cost. Hill alone came with a 4 yr $120M cost and Chubb is UFA after this season.

If we don't extend NICK BOSA this offseason, our front office has no credibility. We're not playing Bosa on a fifth year option. No way. Like, he has something else to prove.

Maybe, maybe not.

2021 - Dolphins select Waddle at 3
2022 - Dolphins trade their first plus more for Hill
2023 - Dolphins don't cheat and use their first for Chubb.

Waddle was a swap pick so meh, they could have picked him at 3 if they really wanted to.

That same draft they sent a 2022 first to the Eagles to move up to 6 from 12. That could have covered Hill.

They were dumb enough to get caught tampering and lost their own 2023 first they could have used for Chubb.

So yeah, it can be over simplified to the Trey trade, but that's not to say the Dolphins couldn't have pulled it off without it either if they really wanted (and weren't caught cheating).

even if this team misses the playoffs, Bosa will get extended in the offseason. theyre not going to let him walk.

This is straight b******t.

If they can't find common ground and agree to terms it doesn't mean they have no credibility. Still the same FO that completely rebuilt this roster from the ground up, rebuilt the culture here, helped get us to two NFCCGs and one SB in their first 6 years and has stacked this team with talent does not suddenly lose all credibility except in your own mind.
Getting a 5th for JWJ was a good deal imo.
Not sure I like it, Kind of meh. But then again, 5th round picks are like gold for the 49ers.

"Golden" to be exact.

He was a good player.. he and Mostert were such good players... business move IMO, Shanny would be stupid not to trade him since we have Lil Mac - Price - Mason..

Plus, the guy only signed 1 year if not mistaken, so if we got the 5th (haven't read the deal), that's a bonus !!
his farewell message...

I once asked who would bet on the Lions or Texans to make 2 of the next 5 conference championships and a Super Bowl, because that is essentially what this front office did once they took over. None of these people that knock the front office would bet on any bottom 3 team to accomplish that.

For all of the complaining, it's astonishing how some can overlook how much of an accomplishment that actually is.
Don't like this one at all. Strictly financially motivated and to recoup a 5th round pick they've lost (among many).

Wilson looks the best he has in his career. 5.1 ypg; 14th in the NFL in rushing yards right now.

yes the niners have CMC and elijah mitchell is coming back. but this team needs ALL the insurance it can get. And even with them, why wouldn't they love to have a third back, the caliber of Wilson, mixing it in, while TDP and Mason develop.

Maybe they know something about TDP and Mason we don't. But if they did, why haven't they been playing?

CMC move was to win now. Trading Jeff Wilson is a move for next year, that doesn't support the philosophy of them laying it all on the line to win this year.

ignoring that the team still has Tevin Coleman?
