Why? Ferrell is playing tonight. While Bosa is recovering from another surgery.

Yes a hernia surgery big deal...he's not recovering he could play but chose to get ready for his real job. Good for him

According to his father. It's a 12 week process for a pass rusher. So he'd be good to go around December 20.
He played thru a groin injury that resulted in a bilateral tear.
Side question. Is a bilateral tear the same as a hernia?

Well let's see how he does at the combine before we proclaim anything. Last I read it was a hernia if this is true then it's a little worse. Still doesn't affect my draft thoughts on the kid.

Yup I'm not even saying I don't want him. I have a lot of tape to see before all that. Just being vocal about some concerns I have.

Definitely, a game changer if Ferrell tore his ACL in high school - I'm off the bandwagon now.

so we should dump jimmy g and mckinnon next year? please, an acl tear in high school, and he has had no problems with it since, is no big deal.

I guess drafting Frank Gore is out of the question since he had ACL surgeries on both knees in college. OOPS! Wait he is still packing the ball after all these years.

Lol, I was just stirring the pot with the ACL comment. I don't care if Ferrell tore his ACL. As long as he's out there now, he's good with me.
Does anyone know if he's a team captain? TheBlueHell? That seems to be a quality this regime puts a premium on.

Clemson does things a little differently in that they rotate captains throughout the season and then name a permanent one at their awards banquet after the season. He has been a captain before for various games. This tweet was pretty funny though.
Clemson defensive end Clelin Ferrell told coach Dabo Swinney he never wanted to be chosen a captain at a home game unless he could still run down the hill during pregame.
