Farrell is overrated in my opinion... he shouldn't be on the top 10... he belongs within the last 10 picks of Round One..

Yes, he's also had an ACL injury - so I downgrade him a little bit more.

He reminds me of Derek Barnett, seems like he'll be a solid player, just doesn't scream major contributor

Agree, I think he's built better than Barnett for an edge rusher (longer arms) but I don't know if I see some stud LEO for this scheme.

Gonna be fun to watch him the next couple weeks

He's got some really good tape but from what I've seen I'm worried his game may take a step back in the NFL and the question becomes can he develop further or is he more of a finished product.

I think he's got great size and his get off is top notch...but there are times it burns him. Dude will have his share of offsides penalties but so did Aldon and Brooks and they were key players for us with some key sacks.

My biggest concern with him is while his get off is top notch and his athletic ability isn't terrible I saw him overrun a lot of sacks because he gets the jump but then can't bend around the OLman early enough to get to the QB. It can be drilled but it's not easy for a big guy do that.

I'd rather roll the dice with Allen, Polite and Burns who have their own developing to do.

But I'm not totally down on Ferrell, he just scares me. I can see him turning into an Aldon Smith like player but I can also see him being another Shaq Lawson(yes partly for the Clemson connection but also I think they excelled in college due to same things)

Ferrell will need to rely on his hands and strength to soften the edge, which i do think he will be successful in doing in the NFL. I see a 3 down player with 10 sack production

Not concerned with his ACL, but I agree that he's being overrated and not a top-15 guy in most drafts. Somewhere in the 20s seems about right. Not all too different than if he'd come out pst year.

I've seen him as projected in the top-10 quite a bit. That'll disappear as others guys get more exposure/hype.

I agree - he's more of a mid first rounder.
