Yeah stuff like this is great to know

Lol...Yeah just like how Brandon Thomas completely shut down Jadeveon Clowney by himself in college? How are their careers compared to each other in the NFL now? This is irrelevant...IMO.

Only it's not irrelevant as far as Thomas, you mean the yr clowney was hurt the whole season? Some dudes never come back 100% off a torn ACL either.

Not really apples to apples.

I'm excited to see him vs ND and hopefully bama.

Don't be surprised if he's the pick, just saying.
You know Saleh is seeing stuff like this

Really looking forward to seeing him on Saturday

I like Ferrell - but, that reconstructed ACL is scaring me away.
He's a nice player that does everything well. Unless he drastically improves his strength or technique, what you see is what you get. He'll be a steady player and that's about it. Good, not great.

He deserves to be in the late 1st range, but I don't see a lot of upside with him. High floor, low ceiling guy that could get you 5-8 sacks in a full time roll. If you bookend him with a speed rusher, maybe he can outperform that.

I could be way off, but that's my impression of him. It hasn't really changed much since last year.

What's wrong with this strength and technique? I think two of his beast attributes are is power and violent hands.

He's not super flexible and the speed isn't elite. That's not really his game. I don't think he's a athletic freak but does have the size/length/hands you covet in a 4-3 DE. He's a 3 down guy from day 1.

He's not my favorite but he's a top 10 talent in this draft

I can't help it - all I can think about is that knee going out again.

well that's silly man...any player at any given time can get hurt.

Guess we should move on from JG and McKinnon as well

I know it's silly thinking - I have to stop doing it.

Nothing is wrong with his power or technique. He's never going to be a speed guy. He can get off the line quick, but for him to become a dominant edge rusher, he's going to have to advance in those two areas.

I feel he has a lower ceiling because I don't see him getting that much better in those areas. He's close to being maxed out. Some guys perfect their technique in the pros and really flourish. I think that's what you have to hope for with him.

I also think he can come in and play early. I just don't see him as such an early pick. 20-25 would be his sweet spot, IMO.

I guess frank gore and his two acl tears should have never been drafted? its not the end of the world
