What's wrong with this strength and technique? I think two of his beast attributes are is power and violent hands.

He's not super flexible and the speed isn't elite. That's not really his game. I don't think he's a athletic freak but does have the size/length/hands you covet in a 4-3 DE. He's a 3 down guy from day 1.

He's not my favorite but he's a top 10 talent in this draft

I'd take Ferrell if we already had a LEO, tackle to replace Staley, and a corner to start opposite of Sherman. Put Ferrell on the left side and we'd be done with our D-line.

I like that they were comfortable putting him at 3 tech was in Nickel and they were thinking pass rush, yet it was run and he put the guard 5 yards into the backfield and controlled his gap, not sexy but very impressive.

This saying is so odd to me. Do ears get in the way u less they get pinned back? Does this suggest he has dumbo ears, thus making it extra difficult to be aerodynamic?

I agree. Dont see the explosiveness to be a great edge rusher and to make the 49ers way better on defense. Good player but I am not sure he will be special.
