Bosa, Williams, Allen or Trey Downe.

Ferrell is a good prospect, he's not a #2 good prospect.

Trey Downe will have the best combine for sure.

His game tape is off the hook, especially that one game.....if you don't know, now ya know #TreyDowne

Lawrence has no idea what's being talked about lol.
Ferrell wins and wins a lot. If someone can work with him to play lower and lean into tackles as he turns the arc, this dude could be a MONSTER because he's already got all the other necessary ingredients. He left a slew of sacks on the field last night against a very good tackle in Jonah Williams because he couldn't take a tight track to the QB.

But I didn't realize how nasty this dude is. He talks a lot of s**t. I like it He said he models his game after Aldon, compared whooping Alabama to whiping his ass and referenced Suge Knight after the game. Not sure whether to be concerned or in love. T-Sizzle comp coming together.

Woo, trending upwards in my book. I need a DOG in the trenches!!

I can live with him being the pick but it would be a "prove me wrong" type of deal. He comes off as someone who can frustrate the fuk out of us.

Can see him blowing up a play one snap, jump the snap to draw a flag on the next play and then beat the tackle off the snap but fail to get to the QB after running too far unable to dip and cut down his path to the QB.

If we could only combine Burns and Ferrell

Honestly he kinda fits the mold that this FO likes. I wouldn't be shocked if the pick comes down to Ferrell or Allen (with no trade down or Bosa as an option).

I can live with him end of the day

Alright we finally found something to disagree on ;)

Though obviously I'd be fine with him as well...but hoping if it's not Bosa we trade down and they find a way to get Burns.

lol, well I'm not in love with him or really any of the top edge guys...their all solid, but top 2 is kinda rich.

Overall (like I said earlier) this draft isn't great. We gotta look at who's who and not focus on well he's not worth the 2nd overall pick...end of the day who really is out of this class (if Bosa goes 1)? QW dats about it and we have a lot of young talent there already (I'd still be okay taking him).

Will he be at the senior bowl?

He's a RS junior I believe. Don't recall if they allow those guys to play in the senior bowl these days. I thought there was some rule allowing that now but maybe I made that up.

Would certainly be awesome to get him and Allen for a close view.

Looked it up 4th year juniors who graduated by December are eligible. Not sure what his status is.

I'd rather have him over Bosa. This guy plays the run and pass equally well, not just a ER..

I'm good with using #2 overall for Burns so I don't really care about the traditional "OMG REACH!!" garbage. I'm just petrified of getting this pick wrong. It's why I'm hoping to hell and high water that Bosa is there because he's such a no brainer pick.

All of the other edge guys have their own question marks. I just want to find OUR guy. It worked out for us when we "reached" for Aldon before he picked up the bottle.

I'm super tired of rooting for higher draft picks before the season is even half way done. This offseason has to be a home run across FA and the draft. It's why I value Bosa and Burns over the other guys because to me they have much better pass rush arsenal. I'm tired of projecting guys to do something they haven't done and I'm tired of guys who have to be "coached up" cuz honestly I'm afraid our coaches on defense can't get the job done.

To me I'd rather watch a guy bulk up and work on his game with already a great set of moves like Burns versus hoping Ferrell can improve his flexibilty/bend but as long as we address pass rusher I'll be happy. Even if it's a guy like Ferrell who worries me I've seen enough good in his game to make me hope the stuff i'm worried about is nonsense.

Have you watched Bosa?

I'd like to have him too, but we have Buckner, Day, Thomas, DJ Jones, Kapron Lewis, and Street, Blair and Armstead can even play inside in certain rotations. I like this guy, but its redundancy and wasted pick in 1st 2 rds. , Ferrell fills an immediate need and is value in the 1st. round for where were picking.
