Both dudes aren't the bendiest guys and look like they're about to tip over as they're turning the corner lol. But that damn snap anticipation and get off, the hands, length, power, plan etc.

Yup totally agree....I wouldn't be shocked if this coaching staff and Lynch loved this kid. He's a dog and a competitor. He's improved every yr and is a 3 down player.

I could see Ferrell drafted and then a smaller "bendy" nickel pass rusher added this off season.

Is it crazy to say he kinda reminds me of zingy ansah? I highly doubt he would test as well. He's a guy where the combine is gonna matter

some mock drafts have us trading the #2 to the Jags and picking this dude up.

Probably a little smaller and a little less athletic (slower 40, worse jumps), but he should have good length. He's definitely not going to test like Ansah and looks significantly less explosive than Frank Clark in that video.

Yeah I agree for the most there....Chubb wasn't some athletic freak and Clelin won't be either. Ziggy was more athlete than polished pass rusher coming out of college. He put up some pretty crazy combine #s for his size.

Ferrell's combine is gonna be pretty important. If he test better then some think I'm cool with the idea of taking him.

I'm usually in lock-step with you on edge prospects, but I don't see this comparison at all. IMO, Clark's upfield win was based upon tremendous twitch and get off angle AT the snap of the ball, while Ferrell appeared to be leaving before/just as the ball started to move, indicating snap count timing as his greatest advantage. Further, Clark dips under that LTs hands with bend that Ferrell will never have. I like Ferrell a lot, but he's more of a Terrell Suggs to me: Great hands to soften the edge, but no bend to corner tightly.

The T-Sizzle comp wasn't complete until the national championship game when Clelin Ferrell was barking at Jonah Williams for the entire game and then popped off in the post-game interviews lol.

Gameness and attitude are a big aspect of thriving in the trenches. Clelin has it in spades.

Not gonna lie, I was really starting to warm up to Ferrell at #2 when I saw him bull rush Jonah in the title game and put him on his a**. We're talking about a top 10 pick getting rag dolled like he weighed 200lbs. Kid definitely has some of the traits that makes sizzle special.

I think the Clellin Ferrel clip is the more impressive rep of the two above
