Better than Bosa

His production is far, far superior to Bosa. It's not even close. Plus his ability to stay healthy over time was also far superior. Other than the last name "Bosa" what does Bosa have that makes him superior to Ferrell? Bosa is all legacy and last name recognition. There is no production there. He also lacks the ability to stay healthy. It would not surprise me if Ferrell is the better player in the pros. Anything is possible. It depends on injuries, scheme, desire, overall team and supporting cast you play with, coaching staff and development. There are a lot of factors. But Ferrell has been better so far.

I know that was an immature response, but I responded properly in the Bosa gone at #2 thread.
I can't workout if SanDiego is trolling Bosa, doesn't understand football or has never seen him play.
With regards to Ferrell he's long and strong so should do well in certain matchups, but he lacks burst and bend which are up there as the most important traits.
Bosa can win in every way Ferrell can (except sheer length) but can also actually turn the corner and win around the edge without guessing the snap count.

Talk about a guy who's been kinda forgotten about in the predraft process. Not saying he's bad as I have him ahead of Josh Allen, but Sweat and Burns have really taken a lot of shine away from this guy.

I could be wrong but didn't he not work out at the combine and his pro day because of injury ?
In fact I have not heard any testing numbers from this off season 40 cone drill nothing.

He did not do the 40. His cone/shuttle times
7.26 3 cone
4.4 20 yard
At 6'4 264
Which compares to the likes of DeMarcus Lawrence
6'3 251
7.46
4.31
And Bradley Chubb
At 6'4 269
7.37
4.41

We'll see. I'm skeptical because the two DT's next to him are going in the first. Put Nick Bosa or Burns on that D-line and they'd be unstoppable.

The fact he's not a one trick speed guy i think he'll be ok.

I'm calling it now, I think one of either Burns, Ferrel, or Sweat are falling out of Rd 1. It happens every year, the position is too stacked, and each has a concern that could cause them to drop.

Ferrell should have ZERO concerns

If we trade down, he should be our guy.

Agreed. Pass rushers on rookie contracts are the best bargain in the NFL next to QBs on rookie contracts.
