Him plus Ruggs and Arnette, and you all hate Lynch lol.

People don't know what bad is.

every fan base criticizes the draft but i dont think people realize how well we have drafted

we turned around this team quick and we seem to have 2 solid contributors (if not stars) per draft

You can compliment them on their hits and criticize them for the enormous amount of early misses.

There's real improvement that can and should happen, especially in the earlier rounds.

Iy absolutely should. There's a big difference between rightfully critiquing those early picks verses saying this is the worse drafting team or they should be fired when they are in the top third in the league.

Lots of teams dont improve. Just go look at the Patriots 1st & 2nd rounders throughout the years. More often then not, they suck. I dont know if its Bill trying to be smarter then everyone else or what. Seattle and New Orleans are the same way.

Its like for every early draft pick you hit on, you will fail at the next 3.
Kocurek's next revival project? Kid had untapped potential from college. Raiders don't develop players very well. This kid was destined to be great until the Raiders drafted him and stunned his development. Another team's bust could be another team's treasure. L.Tomlinson and A.Key are just a few that comes to mind on bust to good starters for the Niners.

not a bad idea no harm in giving him a shot

Is he a free agent next season?

I wouldn't be upset at all if they could bring him on a cheap contract. He's a free agent after next season.

Me either. Especially after hearing what Key said about the Raider coaches not letting him use the moves he was comfortable using.

Lol what the f**k? I missed this interview. They didn't allow him to use certain techniques? I hope what he meant is that they stressed him using techniques that allowed him to stay in his rush lane/not rush past QB depth.

I'm in favor of bringing in Ferrell. If anyone can breathe life into a player, it's Kocurek.

Ferrell is that classic tweener prospect that never found a true fit at a position. He actually reminds me a bit of Charles Omenihu - similar frame and length.

If Key signs elsewhere in FA, I wouldn't mind throwing a late round pick to acquire Ferrell and give him a 1 year extension (lowers his base by $2M). However, I see that as a post-draft move if we don't address DL in FA or the draft.

Operating off of memory, I believe he was talking about how he would work on all these moves with an independent pass rush coach during the off season, and then coaches will tell him not to use those moves.

I would be happy to pick up Ferrell as well as current squad. I hope that the team will make a serious effort to resign Key though, I think under Kocurek he will continue to improve. On the subject, I hope we have Kocurek lock up for a long period.

He's a FA next year there's no need to trade for him, just need Key and Hurst to recruit him and tell him about the culture and the brotherhood the Niners have is REAL!!
