How did he do today?

Great game today. No flashy stats or anything, but it was a dominating team effort. NCST came into the game leading the country in third down % but got crushed up front and with solid secondary play. Game was 41-7, and the only score for the Pack came in the second half when Christian Wilkins extended a drive with a personal foul.

NCST has a really good QB in Finley, and he was held to 156 yards passing and 2 INTs, while the defense as a whole logged 10 TFL and held the Pack to 2/12 on third downs.

It's not easy to make Ryan Finley look so clueless, to make State's offensive line so unsure, but that is what the Tigers are capable of doing. This was not, by any means, a good effort by NC State, but don't let that sell the Tigers short of what they did, either.
NC State wanted to put pressure on Trevor Lawrence, maybe force him into some freshman mistakes. NC State never got that pressure. (And anyway Lawrence proved above it.)
Instead, Clemson's pressure made Finley look at times like the panicked freshman. When you win the point of attack, it makes such a huge difference. The scoreboard says as much.

Thank you Sir

My biggest concern with Ferrell ATM is his athleticism or lack thereof. From what I see on tape, I'm not confident he's going to grade well at the combine. He has stiffness in his lower body and struggles at times with flattening. Not really explosive or bendy. Dude also appears to be carrying some bad weight. I think I saw a gut in that clip posted on the last page.

I see this so far as well but I need to watch more tape honestly. I fear that we will pick the wrong edge player again.
I watched the game today and to be quite honest I didn't really see him stand out. He drew some double teams and had a tackle for a loss but that's about it.

I feel like by the time the draft comes along he won't be the consensus #2 edge rusher on the board like he was coming into this season.

I don't. We're drafting too high to mess this up.
N.C. State quarterback Ryan Finley entered Saturday's game as the leading passer in the ACC, averaging 324 yards per game. But the Tigers shut him down, holding Finley to 156 passing yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions.

K'Von Wallace and Jalen Williams each picked off Finley. It marked the third consecutive year Wallace has recorded an interception against N.C. State.

Clemson also had 10 tackles for loss, led by Clelin Ferrell with 2.5.

I don't think drafting this guy would be a mistake. But I don't see the pure passrush ability that others in this class might have. No doubt he would be our sack leader for years though.
IF YOU WANT another Buckner, then this is the guy to draft...

Not sure what games you're watching, lol. Now, a Buckner level talent, but at edge? Yes, we all should want that.

I'm with you on this one. All aboard the Will Ferrell train.

He has great length, but isn't in the same league as Bosa, hand usage alone puts Bosa on another level, that's before the quickness and athleticism advantage.

I think Ferrell is probably 2nd but Bosa is comfortably #1
Is Ferrell better than Sweat at this point?

You know what they say. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

During this time of year Paxton Lynch was considered the #1 QB in the 2016 draft over Goff and Wentz wasn't on many people's radar as a day 2 pick let alone #2 overall.

I think this guy is so overrated, do not want.

Genuinely curious why you think that. I dont think he has as high of a ceiling as some in this class, but I do think he has the 2nd highest floor, and his ceiling is still 10 year starter with a few probowls mixed in. Imo.
