Shanny runs 2 RBs.

Freeman makes over 8 million a year and splits rushes with Coleman. You're fixating on price.

Under Shanahan Freeman rushed 227 times in 2016.

You're saying McK won't split carries because he's making over $7M per season.

Not sure how to be more clear. Price isn't everything.

1) McK isn't a bellcow back at any price. No one considers him a bellcow back. That isn't his strength.

2) Shanny employs two starting RBs.

3) McK is an awesome signing and will be dangerous in this scheme (Shanny is all about scheme), but you're literally the only person arguing that he'll be our feature back.

4) We "overpaid" for Juice last year, but he's much more than just a fullback. McK is a similar sort of signing.

Wow can't believe we paid that much for him and let Hyde walk when he took 5M a yr. McKinnon will look great in Shannys system of course but what other team was offering him almost 8M a yr?? Wtf

Maybe its incentive laden with $5k per catch and $5m for being an all pro RB. LOL...never know with Marathe behind the wheel on these contracts. Comes down to guaranteed money anyway as the overall number is just for media fluff.

Hyde doesn't fit this offense.

And Hyde gets a chance to go home. Browns are going Allen and trading down after.
Low mileage with lots of upside. If the money is really what it is, Shany (and Turner) are again banging the table for this guy. Like already been mentioned, in this offense, somewhat of an unknown that will become a star. Other than that, Let's wait and see on Paraag''s numbers..
He's going to be a top 20 FF player

Very good points! That fact that Mckinnon is a "kamara-type" is huge. Look at the production Kamara had last year under Brees/Peyton. We can only expect similar production under Shanny/Jimmy.

These guys will be tough to stop at the same time for a defense

Dude. You literally said "you don't give someone 30 million to split carries."
