I don't think most people appreciate just how stacked you have to be to weigh 209 at 5'9" with a low bodyfat. Even at 200 that is still a considerable amount of bulk.
On top of that McKinnon benches over 400 and squats just shy of 600. He's an absolute athletic freak with speed and power.
right
Jerick Mckinnon - 5'9 209lbs benched 32 reps at last years combine. That's good for an OL/DL.
According to nsca.com (National Strength and Conditioning Association) this was in college...
Bench Press Poundage: 405. Squat Poundage: 565. Hang Clean Poundage: 350
"Jerick McKinnon is the epitome of an All-American strength and conditioning athlete...As it regards to physical strength, Jerick is abnormal. He is stronger than most everyone on the team including many linemen that outweigh him by 100lbs... During workouts, guys will stop working to watch and admire Jerick perform a set"
Oh and he runs a 4.41 40, has a 40.5" vert, 132" broad jump, 6.83 3 cone, and a 4.12 20 yard shuttle.
pound for pound he's probably one of the strongest dudes in the NFL.
Adrian Peterson on Jerick McKinnon: "He's probably the best athlete on the team. You don't think he can bench more than 400 pounds, but he does. You don't think he can squat over 500...he does. He keep on on top of my game I tell you that"
