Who knows he hasn't played in a regular season game yet.

He on the AA development plan? Year 7 his breakout year?
Overpaid but had to because everyone else got paid to.
It is really strange that Hyde took so little money from a team that is projected to take Barkley.

Also the 49ers now have a crazy fast backfield.
MB 4.38, JM 4.41, JW 4.41, JM 4.49.
Are we done with the RB position? How confident is the FO about Joe Williams recovery? Could the two of them fill out the depth chart with Brieda?

Oh what?! Are you serious? McKinnon is worth for 7.5 millions than Hyde? Wow.. McKinnon should get 3.5 millions than 7.5 millions.

Lol. David is not smart his homework for football games and players talent.

Lol.. McKinnon got 500+YD for rush? Lol.. He is worth for 7.5 millions. Oh damn.

LOL okay buzz...looking at stats doesn't equal exactly what a player is.

Yeah probably paid a similar RB a ton of money as an insurance policy for Joe
Would you rather Lynch would have signed Sammy Watkins for $ 16 million per year when last year he only caught 39 passes for 593 yds and 8 scores?

Now that is an overpay.
Like I was saying yesterday in the Lynch thread, overpaid is a weak ass term. It's all relative to the needs of the team and a hundred other variables. Guys that have skill sets like McKinnon and Juice are worth top dollar for Kyle's offense. Period.

At the end of the day, it's all on how you decide to allocate your cap.

We need looking for Stud Rush Yards. I know McKinnon had a good catch the ball his WR than RB? It is my opinion.
Any power backs on the roster? Lol

I blame most of his lack of production on Minnesota pushing touches to Peterson and Norv Turner. Like Boise said, CRIMINALLY underused. His athleticism and strength are off the charts, check his combine numbers. The rank is for overall that year, not RB class... Link

Event Stat Rank
Broad Jump 11'0" T-2nd
Vertical Jump 40'5" 3rd
Bench Press 32 reps T-8th
40-yard dash 4.41 6th

It's not just Peterson. Even without Peterson he lost the starting job to Matt Asiata, and then the Vikings spent a first round pick and FA money on Latavius Murray at the position because they still didn't think of him as a starting back.

Nobody debates that McKinnon is a heck of an athlete, the question is if he's above average as a football player.

I think the Better Rivals guys are amazingly good at what they do, but in this case IMO they've allowed themselves to get romanced by his testing numbers. SPARQ IMO, is good for setting floors, but getting all excited because guys who aren't very good football players have high SPARQ scores is the 21st Century version of the Al Davis draft strategy.

Forget the contract, dude just sucks. I would have much rather paid Hyde $15 mil of that was all it took. McKinnon does NOTHING better than Hyde

Besides catch the ball, block and run fast

Good signing.

Think catching out of backfield.

Wouldn't be surprised if a bigger back is brought in as well
