Yeah but doesn't mean he was ever starting material. I thought morris was a better option anyhow. In this offense the ball gets spread around. Plus rbs are not that hard to find. Our new starter was on the streets a few weeks ago for example.

RBs that can run routes, catch and pass block the way he can are. I imagine that was going to especially play a huge role against teams like the Rams with weak LBs.

Morris isn't remotely close to being a homerun threat out of the backfield the way McKinnon is.

Yup. McKinnon was the antidote for the Rams D. Now we gonna get destroyed IMO.

McKinnon isn't some unstoppable force to be reckoned with that defenses fear. He hasn't shown that.

He is a system rb and he can be replaced.

Shanahan can/will move the ball and score points against the Rams. He did last year with Hoyer.
Didn't he just have a calf strain ?
Wonder if it was the same leg and they misdiagnosed the injury ?

So, Shanny thinks it's an ACL? f**k.
RB by committee this year

All speculation could just be a sprain.

No, it's a new injury.
We need to go back to RB in the draft.

Seriously. Shoot the training staff. Or the groundskeepers. Shoot someone.

You guys overlook the potential of what Kyle Shanahan had designed for McKinnon over the offseason. With Jet's rare skillset, the ceiling is sky high.
Phuck..

He crossed my mind as well as Henderson when looking at guys recently cut. Was also thinking it may not be a bad idea to call Saints about Ingram. He's suspended first four games but he's a FA at the end of the year and SP has never seemed to be much of a supporter of his, might be a an opportunity there to swing a nice deal. Would love to see Ingram in this system.
