This. It isn't "our" money anyway.

It was a good signing knowing what they knew up until today. It may still be a good signing for 2019+. You cannot predict the future on Niner Talk any better than anyone in the 49er front office or coaching staff. They take the best shots they have based on the information they have, then you let things fall as they may.

It sucks that it happened, but there's no benefit to whining about it.

But apparently Shanny didn't consult with NT before FA started so therefore he's wrong.

I hope they just release McKinnon now - he won't be the same player going forward.

Jet was a good signing....this is just the worst luck. Its the Malcolm Smith situation all over again. Sign a guy to make an impact and season ending injury. I just have a bad feeling another impact player goes down at some point in the season.

Nope...it was all about his lateral ability to stretch runs.

Get ready for a bunch of IZ again.

Won't hurt to rehab him. RB is a priority again next season.

Yeah, pretty sad that the second you cut down to 53, you're at 52.

That would be short-sighted, reactionary, and a panic move.

In other words, exactly the type of move Niner Talk would make.
Malcolm Smith all over again.
Did we even improve on offense in the off season?
On talent (not counting better play book knowledge).

I think our doctors f**ked this up.

Jerick McKinnon tore his right ACL. A few weeks ago, he thought he injured the same knee, but reportedly strained his calf.
And now our starting RB is a dude that wasn't even signed a few weeks ago.

Yep, RB and ER.

Not a hard prediction considering it happens to 75% of the teams every season.
