They misdiagnosed Kaepernick's injury, even though he kept telling them something was wrong. Told him it would be fine... kept going back out there getting beat up some more until he was fed up with the pain and got a second opinion. Then that doctor pointed out what was wrong... then our team doctors were like "ooooohhh"

Now knowing how poor Kap is at communicating it wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't exactly clear on what was bothering him from the beginning.

Also, they weren't wrong about Foster's shoulder. It certainly didn't keep him off the field enough last season to argue against making him their pick at the end of the 1st round, which is what they evaluated it as.

Yes. However you may need a stabilizing brace to prevent other damage to the knee. Yes. yes you can run with just a torn acl. straightforward and backward running, no cutting or pivoting. if your knee gives out on you, there may be additional damage in the knee.
