We really don't know what we lost. Our running game wasn't going to be very good anyway, and now it'll probably be worse. Still, this doesn't really have a major bearing on our season.

Pretty obvious that our team doctors hate McKinnon and knew he had a PCL but they wanted him to blow that ACL.....well played
ACL is right in the middle of the knee. The main stabilizing ligament, it connects the thigh bone to the shin bone (femur to tibia). The PCL is in the back, also connecting thigh to shin, preventing hyperextension. MCL (medial collateral ligament) is on the inside of the knee connecting shin and thigh. Lateral CL is on the outside connecting thigh to fibula, the small "steering" bone on that rotates the ankle.

So the tweet said he was clutching the back of the knee. I guess I'm not seeing the connection between that injury that he was shutdown 3 weeks for and this fluke injury. But yeah, this just go ahead and assume the doctors from Stanford don't know what they are doing.

What should be the lotto numbers I play since you know the outcome of the future?

I think it affects the passing game more than the running game. Depending on the back that plays, the running game may be better.

Larger numbers (>31 are advised because people use their birthdays)

WTF
What the f**k WHAT?
Edit- I ain't talking about Jerick.
What are you talking about? Are you calling me a racist? The team doctors racists? I hope not, but you're message is a bit unclear right now.
Easy guys. I know everyone is upset by this news but jumping on each other is not going to heal his knee.
I'm just confused about these statements is all. They just seemed so out of the blue and unconnected to the prior conversation.
You say something like this? And you're "confused"?
Now knowing how poor Kap is at communicating it wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't exactly clear on what was bothering him from the beginning.
Kaepernick had a 4.0 GPA in high school,a 4.0 GPA in college,& scored a 38 on the Wonderlic.
Yet some how doesn't know how to communicate to a Doctor about what's wrong?
GET THE f**k OUT OF HERE WITH THAT s**t.
Play victim all you want. That's what usually happens after someone does/says some shady s**t.

Once he sustained the concussion, he should have been shut down for the remainder of the preseason....concussion protocol or not. Didn't like it that the coaching staff was going to play him even before the concussion. Seemed foolish imo
Anyhoo, I think there are some legitimate concerns about this medical staff just going off of history. I certainly don't think they hid anything or tried to deceive anyone though. But hey what do I know

The double standard for black QBs has made me resent the NFL and their fans. I'm not one to call wolf, but they (black QB)s don't get a fair shake, imo.

Kap was poor at communicating why he was sitting during the national anthem. There was confusion over his message when he did it, and there were advisors brought in to make the message more clear and participatory. I've been a supporter of his stance and actions the whole time, even when he was poor at communicating it clearly at the start. My observation that he isn't the most clear in his message historically has ZERO to do with his skin color, ethnicity, social status, or culture. It was simply that - an observation about his communication. YOU are making this a race issue, not me.
Kap is a smart dude, no question. I wasn't saying otherwise.
Also, thanks for confirming it was me you were calling a racist and a piece of s**t. Brilliant move.

Unless his injury prevents him playing next year, they are not going to cut him. If that were the case, they would reach an injury settlement but it would include his guaranteed $6,000,000. per Overthecap.
If we (which I think has to happen) draft a RB early, are we going to keep a 3rd down back at that salary?
