Doesn't McKinnons injury open up a roster spot? Or did it happen before we made cuts?Originally posted by GhostOfBaalke:Tell Denver fans it's because Freeman has higher upside. Booker is way more proven and has the most experience. And Philip Lindsay impressed them a ton in training camp and pre season. Plus he's a great special teamer. Then they gotta reserve a spot for the FB. They didn't have enough room to keep 4 rb and a fb.
Henderson would be interesting to bring in. And could end up being solid. But I'd be much much more happy with a proven vet over relying on a second year 6th rounder who didn't do anything last year. Very unlikely he comes in and outplays Morris/Breida/mostert.
And if you do bring him in, then who do you cut?
Also Kansas defense is trash. Bears 2nd team lit them up in the third preseason game. They sat most of their starters and still ran right through the Chiefs starters.
Not being snarky. I live in a cave.
