Truth. Cook is a better runner but Mckinney is a better pass catcher and pass protector. It sucks this injury could cost us one or two games and that's the playoffs or the division right there. Damn

Generally speaking, players never come back the same after injuries like this. There are always exceptions of course. But I wouldn't count on miracles when managing a roster.

Fully agree. I hope so b/c he seems like a hard working kid but damn, this injury curse strikes again.

Injured or not, if I was Kyle, I'd still draft or acquire a running back either through the draft or via undrafted free agency next year. McKinnon should have competition at his position even if he was healthy. NOw that he's not - it will make it that much harder for him to make the team next year - assuming ShanaLynch will continue to look for that superbly talented speedy running back that can catch like Jerry Rice until they find at least two that can do the job. One to start, one for depth.

Absolutely. I'd go into 2019 with the confident that I can either lean on my rookie or McKinnon as my number 1. I like Matt Breida, but if we could upgrade our RB group so that he is now third on the depth chart, that would be a very good group of backs we'd have, including Jusyczek(sp?). My guess is that if Alfred Morris tears it up this year, that he will move on to a bigger contract elsewhere.
'pretty clean' ????
what the hell is that supposed to mean?

Jerick McKinnon's ACL tear was 'pretty clean,' per Matt Maiocco

That's great news.

He'll be back. Kyle clearly loves him. I don't think the ACL injury will deter them. He's been through a similar situation with Chris Thompson.

It happens. As long as Jimmy is playing we'll have a decent shot to win.

A true franchise QB makes any team have a chance.

Sounds like New Jack City, the ending didn't turn out to well.
I think how Brady is using James white is how the jet would have been used this yr under kyle....whould have been a huge safety net and made this offense go to a different level imo.

Does jet make it on next years roster? The deal was structured with a 1 year out.

No question, people don't get how important he was gonna be to Kyle. Offense will be so much better next year with him and jimmy back along with more playmakers god willing
