So weird with all the injuries to the Arbys. McKinnon, then Breida gimpy all year, Wilson dropped with a shoulder injury, then Mostert with that unforgettable mangled arm.
The good is each of them were doing really well until injured. Seems like we may have 4 capable starters at RB going into 2019

I don't think McKinnon is going to be a factor this year for us. It's going to take a while for that ACL to mend - I say '20 he'll breakout.

Totally agree. He'll have a much better impact on the passing game vs. running. Running laterally in OZ will not be his friend for the year IMHO.

Hopefully Jet is an amazing weapon in the passing game for us this year, while he's fully recovering from his injury. Having Breida+Mostert to go along with him should be good. If Jet sucks this year, then we can get out of his deal on the cheap.

Even though it'll be a FULL 12 months with his recovery? At the worst I'd say he'd split a lot of carries early on and around the November timeframe he'll start showing his true form.

Nah, he will deal with some hiccups, but in listening to Dr's and other guys who have had the same injury coupled with how long ago it happened, he should be back to form by mid season

We really don't need to rush McKinnon back to fast, split carries with Breida and Mostert or Wilson, depending on who the 3rd RB on gamedays is.

I agree Hoov, he suffered it in early September, so he should be back to form by Mid season.

This. McKinnon never got to start but Breida would have had 1000 but for injuries and led the league in explosive plays for a RB. He is fast. What is crazy is that Mostert is even faster (from the combine) and a great special teamer. He'll heal from his broken arm. Had that been his leg, it might be a problem. I was impressed with how Wilson ran so hard. He's a downhill, 1 cut and go runner. I like that style. No more Kevan Barlow dancing.
The Shanahans know how to get 1000 yards out of a rb. Hell, even Alfred Morris was OK for a while here and he was used to perfection in Washington.
I'm fine with the team going into next season with just those 4 guys. No need to draft a RB but if we were get Leveon Bell OTOH
I also think Trent Taylor and Marquise Goodwin will have bounce back years.

Not so much with the inability to run laterally but getting back into football shape and being quick enough and fast enough laterally to outrun the defenders to the edge like Breida and Mostert can do now on the regular. I'm guessing it's going to take some time before he's back to that level. If he's even half a step slower, expect a lot of TFL early on in the season.

This...as much as it sucked that we lost Jet and Jimmy early when it comes to last season, it is a big deal help going into this one.
