Uhhhhh, no. Mostert is a special teams standout who can also do well as a backup. After having to start a 5th string RB late in the year Shanny wants a good stable of backs that can all run his system and all be home run hitters.
Wager?. If he is here come game 1, I will never use "t" in any of my messages for 4 weeks. .
Taking back my wager for two reasons:
1. Jonny did not respond
2. It was a drunk post

That was a good head start though. "t" was the only t in that post and I think that would be acceptable due to the quotation. Mid season form.

I think Shanahan simply likes redundancy in important offenses positions. Pettis was it last year, backing up all three WRs. Kyle doesn't want to have to re-think his offense because of one injury, as happened last year. McKinnon stays.

1) The ACL injury i doubt Jet comes back with the elusiveness/speed
2) Age Breida is 2 years younger then him
3) Breida has a dirt cheap contract compared to McKinnon
4) Breida has shown he can run between the tackles catch out the backfield N pass protect as well
This
That second play or whatever that had garçon blocking. Beautiful

I agree, McKinnon is the only unproven back

Hard to argue that. McKinnon was brought in because of his explosiveness, pass protection and pass catching ability.
With an ACL, it may take him a while to get back to the point where he's beating defenders to the edge in OZ laterally.
With Coleman as a primary back, he's 1) healthy 2) familiar with the offense and proven in it 3) an excellent OZ runner 4) terrific in PP and 5) a tremendous weapon in the receiving game.
Throw in Breida plus Mostert and Kyle has everything he wants for his specific scheme.
Wouldn't put it past Shanny to throw in Jet as a receiver once in a while. Dude is strong af for his size and handles the blitz well.
I do think he needs to chill out with the 600+ lb squats, Shanny even mentioned that...too much extra curriculum on his body, needs to tone it down a notch. I think Shanny finds a way to keep all his toys, he is wet af right now #BookIt

What team would trade for a guy coming back from and ACL with his contract? The only guy with trade value imo is Brieda.

If Shanny / Lynch were considering trading Jet, it wouldn't be until after he performs well in camp, preseason and/or after a couple of regular season games. Having mentioned that, I still think Shanny finds a way to keep all his toys. Shanny has to be wet af by now

Not at all. Reads like a normal inspiration/motivation tweet to me.

I get it if they move him. But man what a waste of money. Everyone including myself were puzzled by the signing in the first place. Spent a lot on such an unproven player. Huge potential of course. That 18 mil could've gone to a solid player.

Hmm
Well I'm in here checking this forum because I saw his tweet and the first thing I thought was that it sounded like something someone who had just been cut would tweet.
I was never a fan of the signing from the start. But at this point I'd kind of like to see what he looks like in this system.
I guess we'll see...
