Nobody ever said he had or was dealing with pain. They simply said it "flared up".

He may or may not have pain, he may or may not get arthritis or already have it. But all of that is conjecture at this stage based on people's own interpretation of what exactly they meant by "flared up".

That's why you have extra backs so you are not forced to play someone before they are ready.

Many teams around the league will not be using starters during preseason, or using them very sparingly. It isn't like they need to "show" anything. Guys like Jet just need a few carries to shake off the rust and they are ready to go.

Not worried.

i think we are down to three backs, juice not included. probably need to sign a scrub for pre season

Let this man rest. Everybody responds differently. I'm surprised Kwan isn't on pup. Thankful but surprised. RBs are deep enough right now no reason to rush him back. If they did how effective would he be a less than a year removed from the tear. His game is built on speed and elusiveness. Let him get that knee right so when he comes back he's back and not in and out. Very important we get some cohesion early with this team.

Why IR him when the team can placed him on the Regular-season PUP list, which he can then return in week 7. Am I missing something?
