Lol right, they make money by playing....jet (like a lot of 49ers) have per game roster bonuses and workout bonuses.

i want to see him get off the list and then actually see him doing something to justify all of the love people seem to have for him here.despite the fact he has done zilch for us. on the other hand if they keep him on the list for a while and with our kid from last year hurt.. i think the team could sign a scrub guy so we do not wear out our top three guys who are still healthy and in some cases recovering from injuries

Went from having really high expectations and optimism for what he could bring to the team a year ago, to having rock-bottom expectations and banking on the fact that he won't contribute anything to this team.

I'd love to have him prove me wrong, but the Coleman signing signaled to me--more than anything--that the front office has the same concerns.

Theres going to be concerns with any player coming off an ACL. I wouldn't read anything into the Coleman signing though. Was just a bargain deal too good to pass up. If Jet was overpayed, Coleman was definately underpaid.
