Waiting for him to get cut. We just need to move on from a handful of players on this team that we keep clinging onto. Hope this season ends it for them because that will mean we have other players who are just as good gaining more reps to become better.

would rather him get limited snaps in preseason than go all out in the regular season
I suspect a lot of the hostility towards the team paying jet is because some posters do not appreciate how exceptional the WCO can be, with a coach that truly understands it, and players that truly fit into it. It's worth the cost.

It's not so much what these players might be worth on some other non-WCO team, it's what they are worth on this team.

Clinging onto a player that has yet to take a regular season snap... . That's even a stretch for typical webzone logic.

He was just signed last offseason, why cut him when you haven't seen him play yet, makes no sense.

I just don't get the hate for McKinnon, he never had injury concerns until he tore his ACL, it happens, people saying we should cut him, or injury settlement are overreacting IMO.

I think a lot of people are just bitter because we paid him all that money and have gotten nothing out of him. Many, myself included, thought it was ridiculous to throw the amount of money at him we did, mostly because he has never been a featured back...and we paid him like one.

I am on the opposite side of the cut him camp though. We already absorbed the biggest salary year with him, so it makes no sense to cut him now. We need to try to get something out of him.
i agree with steve.. that is where i always set with him

If he performs anywhere close to what Kyle envisions for him, by the time his contract is over, he will likely be a bargain. That is the reality of the FA market.

Nailed it.
I'll celebrate McKinnon after the first series in game one.

He won't get cut, he's the only one who can truly do what shanahan really wants
