Agreed also its worrisome because he has to get shots as well. They just really minimize the pain , they dont necessarily speed up recovery or do they ??

Supposed to help muscles/tendons heal I believe... in addition to replacing heavier anti inflammatory's

One of the most common uses for PRP is to treat osteoarthritis of the knee, and less commonly of the shoulder and hip. This post goes into more detail about PRP injections for knee arthritis. PRP will not reverse or cure the arthritis. The main goal of the PRP is to decrease the inflammation within the joint. We have used this successfully in combination with other procedures such as an embolization for people looking to delay a knee replacement.

Good point we have no idea , how is knee is going to respond to this. It's an acl tear that is possibly causing arthritis. Generally wouldn't your joints still get occasionally stiff?? Even with the shot , they say it doesn't cure arthritis. It decreases inflammation but for a rb always using his knees. This maybe tricky , I hope he can come back and play. Even if it's not for 49ers but any team.

Ok hope the recovery is on the shorter side , some say the stiffness from the shot can last as long as a few months

Again. with wilson hurt. i think the team should sign a scrub. all this talk about what the jet will bring to the table,. all this talk about his injury being a issue only with the doom and gloom people. sheesh. put him on ir. do whatever with him.sign a scrub to help us with pre season and roll with our three main men. when wilson gets back put him on practice squad

This reminds me a lot of Marcus lattimore. Seemed to have the same problems and couldn't ever come back. I hope I'm wrong but it's seemingly becoming the same issues. Maybe best interest to cut him after this year if he can't play and free up some cap room.

Doesn't compare to lattimore at all.... dude was closer to having his leg amputated than playing football again

My thoughts 100% so much like Lattimore gamble, sometimes you gotta know you gave it your best and most hopefully effort and cut ties, and that tie is getting close with McKinnon
He's done
Pre season doesn't mean s**t. These guys are getting their tune ups before the games really count.
He might be done. Sad

Dude tryna squat 600 pounds before injury... that's a lot of weight.

He's strong af but now we have to wait longer to see if he ever earns his pay. I don't mind the wait, I just don't want his career to end soon

They need to IR him and bring him back later.
At this point it's turning into wasted money.

Might as well start the IR wagon early...makes going to the draft in Vegas more exciting with a high pick lol.
He's done. Stick a fork in him
